Return & Refund Policy – Industrial Equipment

Effective Date: January 27, 2025

At BOHAN machines Limited, we are committed to providing high-quality industrial equipment. Due to the specialized nature of our products, returns are handled differently than for general consumer goods. Please read this policy carefully before purchasing.


1. General Return Policy

We accept returns of eligible industrial equipment within 14 calendar days of delivery, provided that:

  • The item is unused and in original condition

  • It is returned with all original documentation, manuals, parts, and packaging

  • You have obtained prior written authorization (RMA) from us

  • A valid proof of purchase (invoice or order number) is provided


2. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Custom-built, modified, or special-order equipment

  • Electrical components or circuit boards

  • Opened software, firmware, or controller systems

  • Equipment used in production or installation

  • Items not purchased directly from BOHAN machines Limited

3. Restocking Fees

A restocking fee of up to 100% may apply to returned industrial equipment, depending on:

  • Condition of the returned item

  • Whether it was specially ordered or assembled

  • Time elapsed since purchase

Restocking fees are deducted from the refund total.


4. Return Authorization (RMA Process)

Before returning any item, you must:

  1. Contact us at returns@thebohan.com to request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

  2. Provide the original order details and reason for the return.

  3. Wait for our written confirmation and RMA number.

  4. Ship the item back within 7 business days of RMA approval.

Unauthorized returns or returns without an RMA will not be accepted.


5. Shipping and Handling

  • Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless approved by BOHAN machines Limited.

  • Items must be shipped using a trackable method with appropriate insurance for the value of the item.

  • If equipment is damaged during return shipping due to inadequate packaging, the refund may be denied.


6. Defective or Damaged Equipment

If your equipment arrives damaged or non-functional, notify us within 24 hours of delivery with:

  • Order number and photos of the item and packaging

  • Description of the issue

  • Serial number (if applicable)

Once verified, we will arrange for a replacement, repair, or credit as appropriate.


7. Refunds

Refunds are processed only after the returned item is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method or as a company credit

  • Processing time is typically 7–14 business days

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable


8. Warranty Claims

Issues occurring after the return period may be covered under our Warranty Policy. Please refer to the terms that apply to your specific equipment or contact us for warranty service.
